Bonneville shares the hotly-anticipated video for the new single ‘of their latest single, ‘Undercover Woman’ and we’re super excited to be running the premiere!
A tantalising glimpse into their upcoming album, Flying Machine, the track offers a unique blend of soul, jazz and funk on an infectious and rich sonic tapestry topped with Jamiroquai-esque vocals. A band celebrated for their soulful retro sound, takes pride in preserving the rich musical legacy of the South, all while adding their own unique twist. ‘Undercover Woman’ weaves a spellbinding tale of love, longing, and the ultimate triumph of connection.
Taking a look at the behind-the-scenes recording of the song, the new video serves to highlight the amount of musicianship on display throughout the single.
Bonneville collaborated with Grammy-recognized producer Starita for the track, a mastermind known for pushing the boundaries of soul and funk. Talking about working with the band, the producer shares: “Their sound may be retro, but one thing I love about these guys is that they’re not afraid to access new tools to achieve their vision,” says Starita. “That’s one of the reasons it’s so fun to work with them.”
An excellent track with bags of melodic hooks and some supreme musicianship, ‘Undercover Woman’ is a prime example of the bands abilities as writers and performers.
