Video: Harker release video for single ‘Plague your heart’ ahead of album release

Brighton power pop punks Harker are on the cusp of releasing their debut album ‘No Discordance’, on February 9th, via a host of labels including Disconnect, Disconnect & Future Void in the UK, Shield Recordings and Fond of Life in Europe, Wiretap in the USA and Fixing A Hole in Japan. Taken from it is the driving ‘Plague your heart’, filled with chunky riffs and more than a little dose of melancholy, its brightened with this pogo/sing along melody.

Commenting on the meaning behind the song, vocalist Mark Boniface said: “Plague your heart is about the breakdown of trust in a relationship and the guilt from actions taken by a person to break that trust. By nature, we all want to be a good person, but our past mistakes can plague us”.

The band have released an accompanying video, filmed and directed by the band’s bassist, Phoebe Saunders and featuring some fuzzy yet action-packed 90s-style home video starring the band performing alongside record collections, drinking and soft toys. Check it out here

To celebrate the album release the band will play album release show at The Pipeline in Brighton – 23/02/18 (already SOLD OUT) and The Wave Maiden, Southsea on 24/02/18 with support from The Stayawakes, El Morgan and Murderhouse.
