“GO OUT” is the new single from Bristol-based four-piece Tungz, and is released via Heist or Hit.
Channelling the influences of Alt-J, David Byrne and Still Woozy, it’s a laidback slice of summery goodness.
The vibe that runs through the song is one of soaking up sunshine, ironically during these unprecedented times; wishing us to go and see other people. This is the type of song that could bring people together at a festival.
The funk that is underlying all the melody is rich and provides a cool aesthetic in contrast to other recent releases, combating the tension of isolation; this song is smiling.
This is another great track from this up-and-coming band following the March release, “Can’t We Just Be Friends Again”; again this is fresh and forward thinking from the Bristol quartet.
Go Out is available to stream now on all platforms.
