Behind the wash of synth-led Summer vibes and an impossibly catchy catchy chorus , Australian alt-pop group Tigertown’s ‘Come My Way’ has a more serious message behind it. As the bands Chris Collins explains: “We wrote “Come My Way” last year in Nicaragua with our friend James Flannigan. It’s about helping someone through a time of depression. We make ourselves so emotional vulnerable these days, which can be great but it means, now more than ever, we need to be looking out for each other always.”
Its taken from the bands new Warriors EP arriving next month (17th November) via Neon Gold Records / Atlantic, and is one of two tracks on the EP penned by the band on the Nicaraguan coast last year, along with “Mysterious” which features LPX, the solo moniker of MS MR frontwoman and Neon Gold Records co-founder Lizzy Plapinger.
