Track: Thousand Frames Return With Intense New Single ‘Nothing’ Featuring Gerald Albright

Thousand Frames are back with their electrifying new single, ‘Nothing’, featuring renowned saxophonist Gerald Albright. Showcasing some fantastic melodic metalcore, blending melancholic electronic atmospherics with their intense, overdriven metal tendencies, the single showcases a keen understanding for musicality through both its rich instrumentation and emotive vocals.

Blending the band’s signature pounding drums, heavily overdriven guitar riffs, and atmospheric synths, creating a soundscape that feels at once expansive, immersive and emotionally intimate. Thousand Frames hold nothing back as they unleash their unique stadium-filling energy, further evolving their sound with layers of intricate electronica and irresistible melodies.

At around the mid mark, the track takes an unexpected twist with a soulful 80s infused saxophone solo over a driving metal backing, contrasting with the dark screamo section which follows. The track ends on a climactic final chorus topped with splashes of sax before ending with a fittingly euphoric final instrumental.

“‘Nothing’ is a song about breaking free from the cycles that hold you back and creating your own life story,” the band explains. “We hope it resonates with those who are working hard to forge their own paths.”

Bold, unapologetic and explicitly high-octane, the bands use of saxophone, over their metal tendencies really stands out as different. Take a listen for yourself below:
