Track: Theo Moss Shines On Fuzzy Pop-Rock Sweller ‘The Garden’s Burning’

As comparable to Nilüfer Yanya as it is to The Cardigans, Theo Moss’ new single ‘The Garden’s Burning’ is a brilliant example of her pop-rock sound.

Opening with tight crunchy drums and a brilliantly swelling, modulated guitar tone, ‘The Garden’s Burning’ quickly establishes a cool 90s tone under the smokey and stinging vocal delivery. Surrounded splashes of glitchy fuzzy guitar nots and a warm bass, the track progresses to a driven and infectiously catchy chorus, delivering on the suspenseful feel of the verse with a sense of explosive release and a swaying energy.

Talking about the single, Theo explains: “It’s about a complicated relationship with a friend and Los Angeles. I wanted the chorus to be chaotic and represent the anxiety that comes with not having the person you can be your complete self with in your life anymore.”

A brilliant single which highlights Theo as one to watch. Listen below:
