Track: The Waterboys unveil new single ‘Andy (A Guy Like You)

Following the recent announcement of their new album Life, Death And Dennis Hopper, which is due out 4th April via Sun Records, The Waterboys now release the record’s second taste with beautiful new single ‘Andy (A guy Like You)’

“The song describes the moment Warhol drove across America to visit Dennis Hopper in L.A. and have his first exhibition,” Mike Scott comments about the track says, “It was the beginning of the pop art revolution, the moment the ’60s started coming into colour.”

There is no mistaking Scott’s rich deep vocals. The track has a huge cinematic vibe with gloriously vibrant strings, upbeat percussion stamped with the trademark Waterboys stamp. Whats not to love.
