Leeds indie-punk oddballs The Vat Egg Imposition are following on from last years wonderfully titled tracks ‘You Don’t Understand Marmite’ and ‘Sheriff of Nottingham’ with a new track – ‘Don’t Slag Off Neil Burrell via Alphaville Records.
Quirky, intelligent with a straightjacketed beat, the lyrics flow in a group effort as they rise and fall in an ear grabbing DIY way. Its silly but well written and hugely infectious. You get what you get from this band. Luckily its ruddy fantastic and something you want more of.
