The Vaccines have released “Nightclub”, a track from their forthcoming album Combat Sports, released on March 30th. It’s an energetic, catchy romp through 80s pop and early 00s guitar music in the band’s usual style. The band have also announced a 9 date UK tour kicking off in Bristol on the 3rd April 2018, and ending on the
14th April at London’s Alexandra Palace.
The album, the band’s fourth, is dubbed as a return to the band’s roots of energetic indie rock and power-pop. This combination has already won them 15 consecutive A-listed singles at Radio 1 and four appearances on Later…with Jools Holland, BRIT Award nominations for Best Live Act and Best New Artist, a Q Award nomination for Best New Band and an NME Award for Best New Band.
The Vaccines’ 2011 debut What Did You Expect from the Vaccines? was the best selling album of the year, followed by Come of Age in 2012 and English Graffiti in 2015, which charted at #1 and #2 respectively.
