Los Angeles (lead by Vancouver native Pete Mills) post punk outfit The Sweet Kill have just announced the release of their second album titled ‘Nowhere’ later this year via Young & Cold Records (Germany) as well as Shadow Zone Records (USA). They have shared the video for the albums lead single ‘Forbidden’.
Describing the song Mills said, “Beneath the chilly glow of the moon, one might ponder, with a wry smile, the delicious conundrum of the forbidden. Ah, the thrill of diving into the depths of desire, to satiate an unnamable yearning! In the grand opera of life, some find their hearts drawn to the most enigmatic of duets, a dance shrouded in secrecy, away from the prying eyes of the world’s chorus”.
Full of melancholic electronic energy and ruled by those haunting vocals from Mills. Its a slice of dark gothic brilliance that we have grown to expect from Mills. Explosive choruses, tensioned filled verses and a middle 8 that pulls you right in.
