Stockport four-piece The Rolling People have shared their new single, ‘The Thief,’ which brings us a little closer to the release of their debut EP, ‘Before It’s Gone’, which is due on the 2nd of August via LAB Records.
McNichol explains:
“‘The Thief’ is a song that we’ve had for a long time in our live set but we haven’t got around to recording it until recently. It focuses on the power struggle that the common man has with those in charge and is a sort of spit at the people who are pulling the strings from above. It’s our most rocking tune yet and we can’t wait to get it going at the live shows”
A thunderous riff is only the start as the track explodes with energetic vocals, kit destroying drums and an infectious chorus. In fact, the entire track is one infectious, well-written slice of British rock brilliance. The band is making a habit of releasing top quality music like this.
