Melbourne-based band, The Prize have released a single, ‘Easy Way Out’ via Anti Fade. The new track is off their upcoming debut EP, ‘Wrong Side Of Town’.
“‘Easy Way Out’ was the first song we wrote as a band. After finally hearing it recorded, I think we all found a new appreciation for the song that solidified us. You don’t have to ‘read between the lines’ to figure out what it’s about!”
Nadine Muller (drums and vocals)
The band is made up of drummer Nadine Muller, who shares lead vocals with guitarist Carey Paterson. The five-piece is rounded out with Joseph Imfeld on guitar, Austin Haire on guitar and Jack Kong on bass. Muller is no stranger to the music business, her father is a member of the Cosmic Psychos.
The Prize will launch the single in Melbourne on Saturday October 1 at the John Curtin Hotel and will be touring nationally with The Chats. Tickets to the launch are available HERE.
‘Easy Way Out’ is a rollicking track with the power of three full-on guitars and a relentless beat, courtesy of Muller on full display.
