Taken from their forthcoming debut album Truth in Comedy, out October 19th on Lame-O Records, Steady hands have released a new track – Indifferent Belushi. Essentially the project of ex-Modern Baseball man Sean Huber, he says of it “Since the very beginning, Steady Hands has been more of a social club, a collective, and a collaborative effort than a solo project. The most important thing was always the positive experiences we could create with the gifts we had, and I wanted to include as many people in that as possible.”
Indifferent Belushi is exuberant indie rock, with a singalong chorus and a whiff of Ben Folds about it. And if the whole package doesn’t leave you with just that hint of a smile and a feeling of wellbeing then you’re not listening right.
