Autumn has arrived, and with it, Melbourne band RUN have released a new track, of the same name, following their January release, ‘Spring.’ This latest song marks a shift in the band’s sound, taking on a darker and colder tone, as they continue to unveil their latest musical vision.
“The lyrics to this song are mostly quite blunt, but to be clear it is a reflection on the suicide of a friend. RUN’s operative word is bittersweet and I think this song embodies that better than anything else we’ve done so far. I hope people can find some catharsis and hope in it. This one is for SK.”
Vocalist Lochlan Watt of the latest track.
RUN will return to the stage this May supporting the eclectic and emotionally charged British post-hardcore/metal band Svalbard on their debut Australian tour.
