Track: Robert Jon & The Wreck – Worried Mind

Adam Kennedy

In a departure from their electrifying riff-rock anthems, Robert Jon & The Wreck have shared their new single ‘Worried Mind’, the latest single from their highly anticipated album, Red Moon Rising due out on the 28th of June via Joe Bonamassa’s Journeyman Records.

Co-written with Nashville’s own Austin Jenckes, the song began as a simple acoustic melody, which the band chose to preserve in its recording front man Robert Jon comments:

“‘Worried Mind’ was a song inspired by how important it is to talk with others about the worries that you may have because when you hold it in, it can become so overwhelming,”

A moment of reflection led by Jon’s emotive vocals that add warmth to this stripped back track. Smooth slide guitar and a touch of harmonica adds some colour to this wonderfully honest and intimate song
