Track: Robert Jon & The Wreck – Rager

Rob Bondurant

Robert Jon and his band The Wreck are back with new single ‘Rager’ another track part of their recent run of single after releasing their last album ‘Red Moon Rising’.

“What started as a loose, improvised jam turned into an atomic bomb of sonic fury,” explains lead guitarist Henry James Schneekluth.

“This track was inspired by the glory days of 70s hard rock and features heavy, gritty organ & synth as well as a funky and raucous drum groove & bass line. We present to you a new level of heaviness to get wrecked to – ‘Rager’!”

A rip roaring riff filled rocker that’s an electrified live track whose essence the band have managed to capture on tape. Jon’s soulful boom and Schneekluth’s sting hopping dominate this track that sees the band at the pinnacle of their performative best. What a year these guys are having. Banger after musical banger.
