Track: Reliqa Drop Video For ‘Dying Light’

Reliqa

Reliqa (Miles Knox bass, Benjamin Knox drums, Monique Pym vocals and Brandon Lloyd Guitars) have released a video for their new single, ‘Dying Light,’ the third cut to be taken from their upcoming debut album, ‘Secrets of the Future.’

“Dying Light is your last taste of the album before we go full send on May 31st. This one is all about the attitude – it’s got a level of sass and femininity that we haven’t explored before, with a dirty, riffy groove to keep it grounded. I think this song really completes the picture alongside Terminal and Killstar for how many diverse kinds of sounds we’ve managed to pack into the record.”

Vocalist Monique Pym

In ‘Secrets of the Future,’ Reliqa does not merely anticipate what lies ahead; rather, they artfully bring it to life with poise and finesse. The band delves into themes of political injustice on tracks such as ‘Killstar (The Cold World),’ and explores the empowerment found in femininity on ‘Sariah.’

Having recently supported American rock giants Halesform during their Knotfest Australia 2024 headline sideshows, Reliqa is set to embark on their ‘Secrets of the Future’ tour this June. The tour will feature three headline shows in Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney, with support from RinRin. Additionally, Reliqa will perform alongside Caligula’s Horse in Adelaide and appear at the ‘Never Had So Much Fun’ festival in Gosford, sharing the stage with RedHook, Tiali, and many others.
