Track: Pilar Victoria Shines On Happy Perez Produced New Single ‘Dancing In The Sand’

Rising alternative-pop solo artist Pilar Victoria shines on her vibrant new single, ‘Dancing In The Sand’.

The Argentine-American teenager’s meteoric rise began with her breakout single, ‘Wilted Flowers’, which she released at just 14 years old. The track went viral, amassing over 2 million streams and sparking major label interest. Pilar signed a six-song EP deal with Platoon, releasing her first EP on her 15th birthday.

Now Pilar returns with ‘Dancing In The Sand’, produced by Grammy-winning, multi-platinum selling Happy Perez, a radiant example of her emotive songwriting and showcases her continued growth as an artist.

‘Dancing In The Sand’ offers a glittering, lo-fi, atmospheric, and floating soundscape of warming guitars, tight beats, and deep electronic bass. Pilar’s controlled, delicate, elegant and oh so smooth vocal delivery glides over the dreamy production, blending tasteful guitar and electronics to create a delectably catchy track with heartfelt sincerity.

Lyrically, the track carries a relatable message about navigating through relationships, trying to find the right person. Pilar explains: “Dancing in the sand was a song I wrote about realisations I had when being in a relationship that wasn’t meant for me.”

With a rich history of success, including national press and radio support, nearly 10 million streams across digital service providers, and numerous editorial playlist placements, Pilar Victoria is well on her way to becoming a breakout artist. Her new single ‘Dancing In The Sand’ continues this trend in style.
