Track: Pharmacists Unveil Latest Single ‘Heart of the Nation’

UK-based artist Pharmacists created the project as a way of creative escape from his 9-5. Unveiling his terrific new single ‘Heart of the Nation’, serves as a political statement challenging the things that bothered him in the moment. The storytelling details his frustrations about how easily a soul can be corrupted by propaganda; the right amount of money can change the political narrative and people turn their backs.

The dynamic project highlights a deep political depth that sets him apart in the current music world, in addition to his explosive arrival on the scene with a clear goal and purpose. Phamacist’s singing style is reminiscent of Wreckless Eric mixed with Kurt Vile. With a message that endures long after the music stops, ‘Heart of the Nation’ is an anthem that is rising through the alternative-indie-rock landscape.

The sophistication of the genre-blend of alternative indie rock includes a scratchy guitar and epic vocals alongside wonderfully constructed bass and drums. As comparable to Tom Petty and The Ramones, the single is at once challenging whilst captivating, an effortless yet cinematic soundscape.

Speaking about the single, Pharmacists explains, “I wanted to take a huge chorus and put something I believe in behind it. I wanted to leave something of myself out there.”
