If you need something to get you moving on a Friday night, or indeed any other time or day to be perfectly honest, then you can do a lot worse than get debut single from young French-Scottish producer Old Caltone – The Creator (from Jack) on constant repeat. Born out of a love for Hammer Horror movies, English Punk rock and 90s rave music, he’s dished up a house track filled with vocal cut ups, blocky synth chords and ever morphing beats, and just when you think you’ve sussed whats going on, he slaps you down with this huge bass.
Its out via Roy Music, with the promise of more to come. We await with interest.
