Track: New Zealand’s French For Rabbits release the whimsical and enchanting single ‘Walk The Desert’ ahead of album release.

‘Walk The Desert’ is the third charming single off New Zealand dream popsters French For Rabbit‘s forthcoming album ‘The Overflow’, out November 12th  via Reckless Yes in the UK, Europe, and North America, AAA Records in NZ and Australia, and A Modest Proposal in Italy.

The singles released so far (‘The Overflow’ and Ouija Board’) evoke a dreamy mysticism – floating, billowing songs infused with melancholia and longing. It is pure dreamy pop of the highest order.

Singer Brooke Singer explains:

‘Walk the Desert’ is another song that fits into the canon of this album – it’s about big feelings, and trying to keep them contained. That feeling that if someone asks if you’re alright, you know you’d burst into tears.

I think we’ve managed to create our biggest, most solid pop song, and I’m really proud of that.

The accompanying video, directed by Singer and Martin Sagadin, is charming and whimsical, following an aquatic seaside theme of previous videos:

‘The Overflow’ can be pre-saved here for streaming and ordered in advance in a variety of formats through the link below;
