London based indie newcomers, essentially classically trained British-Albanian producer Admir Hyka and vocalist Andrea Skalec, are back with a new EP, and from it they’ve released a single, Tears left to Cry.
Influenced by the likes of Pink Floyd, Portishead, The Knife, Bonobo, the pair produce smoky hip-hop beats and tells Kayla words of neglected love fuelled by the aftermath of the ability to stay positive and move on even when all hope is lost.
Tears left to cry has this melancholy innocence about it, hazy electro beats and little cries from the synths as over the top Kayla lays her beautiful vocal gently over the top.
