Love Ghost shares the poignant new single ‘Angelic’, a stripped, raw and emotive new track showcasing the artists ability to wear his heart on his sleeve.
The tracks solemn atmosphere is matched with reflective and downbeat, yet strikingly poetic lyricism, delivered with a fragile, captivating realism – like Love Ghost is delivering his inner most thoughts. Somewhere between hip-hop and alt-rock the track is as comparable to the likes of Stone Sour as it is to XXXtentacion.
Talking about the track, Love Ghost describes the track as “A stripped-down alt. rock ballad about unrequited love, in the vein of XXXtentacion’s Joselyn Flores and the Smashing Pumpkins ‘Luna’.”
Accompanying the single is a black and white music video that enhances the solitary mood of the track. Set in a large empty room, the visuals mirror the loneliness within the music, creating a powerful synergy between the auditory and visual elements of ‘Angelic’.
Having made a name for himself as one to watch, Love Ghost continues to showcase different depths to his music, with moments of explosive rock, others which showcase more of a urban influence and now a tender stripped back side.
