WELL, there’s a proper getting together of headz, lads. This is gonna be fun, no doubt about that.
Nottingham’s garage-psychesters Little Barrie have decided to get some infused-sugarcube groove on in the studio and lay down an album with none other than Heliocentrics’ guru Malcolm Catto. Electric music for the mind and body, for sure.
Take a listen to them tap into the eternal psych psyche with the heavy, lick-curling brilliance of “After After”, below. It’s heady rawk like you need, existing in an eternal swirl of oil projections and exotic aromas; and there’ll be more, oh! Much more, when Madlib Invazion drop the album, Quatermass Seven.
It’s out on November 6th on digital stream, with CD and vinyl formats to follow, release dates to be confirmed.
Keep track of this deep space electricity by following Little Barrie on Facebook and Twitter.
