Lime Cordiale have released a new single and accompanying video ‘Colin’. The song has an interesting history and was written after Louis Leimbach interacted with Colin Hay on Instagram.
“During lockdown Colin would go live on Instagram with his guitar. One day I picked up my guitar and played along with him and that afternoon wrote the start of this tune. It’s not about Colin but he started the creation of this song, so we asked him to finish it by singing the final chorus.”

The accompanying video (directed by Jack Shepherd) for ‘Colin’ has a laid back retro feel and features the Leimbach brothers on an American road trip. The song has a soft, lilting melody with an almost African feel to it. Colin Hay appears on the video and also sings the final chorus.
‘Colin’ is a follow up to Lime Cordiale’s recent releases, their ‘Country Club’ and ‘Facts Of Life’ and will feature on their upcoming third studio album.
