Prolific rapper/MC and former Ultramagnetic MC’s/Dr. Octagon man Kool Keith has announced his new album. Simply called Keith, it has been produced entirely by The Beatnuts’ Psycho Les, and features Jeru the Damaja, Paul Wall as well as Les himself. It also has B-Real of Cypress Hill on board, who features on the first glimpse of the record, a track called Zero Fux.
Of the record, Kool Keith says “Zero Fux sound so emperor!! The album is well rounded and put together without being overproduced. Track to Track it’s real raw art,”
It features a bubbling kung-fu soundtrack sounding backing, all (re)strained organ, echoey guitars and vinyl crackles as Les and Keith go all Adrian Younge on us (in a good) way. Over the top the protagonists lay it down thick, pro’s that they are, with fast moving rhymes and stories about…..well…..giving Zero Fuxs.

The new album drops July 12th on Mello Music Group.
