Julien Baker and TORRES are back with ‘Tuesday’, the latest offering from their highly anticipated joint album, Send a Prayer My Way, set to drop 18 April via Matador Records. The new track, a stripped-back Americana ballad led by TORRES’ aching vocals, dives deep into themes of guilt, shame, and the scars of religious trauma—particularly for those discovering their queer identity. It’s raw, it’s haunting, and it’s another compelling piece of their genre-blurring collaboration.
This marks the third single from the record, following ‘Sylvia’, which leans into the duo’s shared love of country, and ‘Sugar in the Tank’, a twangy alt-rock gem that the duo performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The latter landed at #2 on AAA radio’s most-added list and is currently climbing the charts at #17.
To bring Send a Prayer My Way to life on stage, Baker and TORRES are hitting the road for a US tour plus a run of major North American festival dates throughout spring and summer.
