Track: It’s not a delusion-Eliza and the Delusionals release new track with high-anticipated debut album to follow

Eliza and the Delusionals

Eliza and the Delusionals who are currently on a tour of the East Coast, have released a new track ‘Bed Song‘. The new track is off the band’s debut album ‘Now & Then’ which will be released on 20th May via Cooking Vinyl.

After their Australian tour, the band will return to North America, where they will kick off their international campaign with an appearance at the Napa Valley’s Bottlerock Festival alongside the likes of Metallica, CHVRCHES, Twenty One Pilots, BANKS and more.

‘Bed Song’ was written by Eliza Klatt and Kurt Skuse and recorded between Brisbane’s Airlock Studios and their home studio. The song sees the pair exploring and learning from past relationships.

“’Bed Song’ was an idea that started off so differently, and I’m really glad we came back to it and worked on changing it because it quickly became one of my favourite songs on the record. This song is really about Kurt and myself finding similarities in our past relationships and bringing those ideas together in a way where we could understand each other’s perspectives.”

‘Bed Song’ is a gorgeous guitar-heavy track that references bands such as The Cardigans and Sneaker Pimps. The combination of lush electric guitars and female lead vocals is irresistible and although clearly influenced by bands of the late 1990s and early 2000s, ‘Bed Song’ sounds fresh and contemporary.
