The fabulous Holly Hebe is back with another sparkling slice of dream pop heaven with her new single ‘Ghost Of You’. With Hebe’s velvet soft vocals aching with sweet melancholia, the track is an aquatic, flowing stream of electronica, buoyant and vivacious with a delectable shimmer.
The arpeggiated synths create a glittering curtain in the haunted house inhabited by Hebe, and the chorus is anthemic and vast.
Hebe says of the track:
Ghost Of You is about the sadness of realising that something has been lost along the way and there has been a shifting dynamic over time.
The sense of loss and regret bleeds through every note. Hebe has a style that is majestic and ethereal, delivery a brand of pop that is pure and euphoric:
‘Ghost Of You’ is out now though the Ivy Music Group and available to download and stream though all the usual sites here.
You can catch Hebe live in a special show along with Sandy Hsu on 25 August in Melbourne – details here.
