Track: Helldown – March Of The Damned

Coal Poet Media

Welsh metallers Helldown are one of the fiercest bands to come out of Wales over the past decade. This year, the unstoppable quartet have stepped up another gear and so far have released two thunderous singles, ‘Beneath The Veil’, with its accompanying video , and more recently, ‘War Is All’. They now share new single ‘March Of The Damned’.

The band comment:

‘“March Of The Damned’ is based around the idea that we’re all slowly walking to our end, regardless of our status or what we die for, we all end up in the same place. This track leans more towards heaviness, rather than speed; it’s a hammer instead of a blade!”

Belting out a frantic riff, the track is a brutal demonstration of this band’s power and skill, particularly the twin guitar attack, which hasn’t been this good since Mr Hetfield met Mr Hammett. From the drumming that hits like a freight train to the powerful, fierce vocals, this is one hell of a huge track thats arena ready for the live arena.
