healthyliving is the project of long-time collaborators and friends who met through the European underground metal scene – Amaya López-Carromero (Maud the moth), Scott McLean (Falloch, Ashenspire) and Stefan Pötzsch. They have shared the second single ‘Dream Hive’ taken from their debut album ‘Songs of Abundance, Psalms of Grief’. The album is funded by Creative Scotland and set to be co-released on the 7th April by the band and La Rubia Producciones.

Vocalist Amaya comments on the track and the song;

“Dream Hive is one of the last songs we wrote for the album and one of the most colourful and energetic. We worked with our close friend Ana López Gómez who captured the energy of the song perfectly with a wild and wonderful video!”

“The song in itself is about toxic positivity inundating our lives and how it hinders personal growth and perpetuates power imbalances. It attempts to capture a false perception of euphoria.”

Scatty urgent guitar collides with heavy drumming and glorious dreamy vocals. In fact the vocals are a big part of the track from Siouxsie Sioux style verses to the swooping choruses, López-Carromero is setting herself up to be one hell of a front woman.
