FLESHWOLF is a new one-man Death Metal project from Northern Ireland, strongly influenced by classic Swedish Death Metal.
“Deathstare” is the third single release, following on from the well-received singles “Trench” and “The Rot”, and is available from all major streaming and digital services from 31 May 2019.
Inspired by Jon Ronson’s book The Men Who Stare at Goats, Deathstare expands on modern military organisations exploring the weaponisation of telekinesis and other exotic techniques. A topic that is as bizarre as it is frightening.
FLESHWOLF is the sound of a Boss HM2 Heavy Metal pedal and thirty years in the underground metal scene. Taking his punk DIY ethos to it’s logical conclusion, Marty wrote and played all instruments (except drums which are drum patterns played by Joe Babiak (Altitudes & Attitude)), as well as recording and mixing the album himself.
Fleshwolf is recommended for fans of Entombed, Entrails, Unleashed, Carcass and Slayer.
Fleshwolf’s Marty Robinson is a middle aged man from Belfast, Northern Ireland who should know better. Consumed by a love of rock and heavy music he has written, recorded and played in bands since his teens. Continuously pushing forward with a strong punk/DIY attitude, learning how to record, produce music, create artwork and videos, release and promote music, a lack of budget or band members doesn’t stop the creation of his art. Along with Fleshwolf, he currently has an instrumental Epic Doom project under the moniker Serpents Eve, with two EP’s released by Loneravn Records.
