Track: First Day Of Spring Share Radiant & Atmospheric New Single ‘You’re Blue I’m Blue’

First Day Of Spring unveils the radiant new single ‘You’re Blue I’m Blue’, a haunting and beautiful blend of jangling alt-rock tones, adorned with a shimmering shoe-gaze edge.

Built around some beautifully constructed dual picked guitars, the track carries an infectious, musicality under it’s floating, melancholic lead vocals. As the track reaches it’s chorus the guitar tones become fuzzy and distorted as the drums punch through cymbal heavy beats and the vocals deliver a repeated, surprisingly catchy main melody.

Moody and affect, ‘You’re Blue I’m Blue’ captures an essence of 90s alternative-rock adorned with a striking modern, atmospheric flair.

Talking about the track, the band explain: ”You’re Blue I’m Blue is predominantly about tribes and ultimately the ability for those tribes to co-exist harmoniously and be among each other in the present. The partnership vocally with dear friend and vocal lead Mariah Maines has been a key part of the evolution of the song re-imagination. We wanted to make an unapologetic alt song heavily guitar-based plug in and go. Like the pixies or something.”
