After previously blowing us away with tracks and Loneliness and Barké off thier last EP ‘Youkounkoun’, Falle Nioke and Ghost Culture reunite for a brand new EP entitled ‘Badiare’, due 5th November via PRAH Recordings. Today, they share a brand new single ‘Ayekouma’.
The song title literally means “talk,” with “Ayekuma be fore” meaning “Say whatever” in Malenki, one of the many languages spoken by Falle Nioke.
“I wrote this song to express my feelings about destiny,” he explains.”That in this life not everyone is going to like you. Some will, some won’t, but we shouldn’t worry about that as we are all here to live our life. We have a destiny that no man can change. We must all follow our different paths as we all have a reason for being.”
A chilled vibe sits underneath that magical baritone that Nioke is blessed with. Ghost Culture has shaped the music to match the rhythmic vocal style which, together, develops a hypnotic flow where Nioke’s voice soothes as the music energises. Once again these two show what a creative force they are.
