Quick-rising UK artist Fabian Secon is back this week with his latest single, “Hey Girl”. The London-born singer has been going from strength to strength over the past few years with a string of successful independent releases, and “Hey Girl” looks set to continue his growing momentum. Written and produced by Fabian, the high-octane pop-punk track (Fabian’s first venture into this genre) arrives with accompanying visuals directed by Theo Batterham and instantly stands out with its catchy sing-along hook and headbanging instrumental that will no doubt put a spring in your step for the rest of the week.
Commenting on the track, Fabian says, “I’ve always wanted to expand more into the punk/pop-punk world, as this comes very naturally to me. The melodies in my music have always been inspired by alternative, pop and rock music, so it was an obvious progression. A typical Fabian Secon track has generally been slower in tempo and chilled, so it feels great to be able to keep evolving and explore new sounds.”
It’s an exciting time to be a Fabian Secon fan. Having already racked up 35 million streams globally, he’s expected to drop even more new music and visuals in 2021, and if “Hey Girl” is any indication for what’s to come, he will surely be an artist to keep a close eye on this year. We’re excited to see what he does next!
