Track: Doomsday Outlaw – War Pigs (Black Sabbath Cover)

Chris Saunders

Sheffield Rockers, Doomsday Outlaw, have shared their cover of the Black Sabbath classic ‘War Pigs’

Phil states:

“Black Sabbath are one of the greatest bands ever, and a huge influence on us. My dad playing me this album when I was a kid was one the main reasons I wanted to start playing in a band.”

Indy added:

“We were asked to record a Sabbath track as part of endorsing Doc Martens and decided to go all out on a stone cold classic. Even after fifty years, it’s sad that the message is still relevant but the power of the music and the frustration in Ozzy’s lyrics were something we wanted to put our take on and put our stamp on.”

Complete with the sound of falling rain the band have adapted the cover into a psych tinged rock monster that hits as hard as the original.
