Norwich based Damp Matches bring a unique blend of alt-rock, trash-hop and anthemic indie and are set to make a big impact on the live circuit with their riveting live show performances. They have shared their first single of the year ‘Sweet Nothing’.
The band comments:
“‘Sweet Nothing’ is about the struggles that substance abuse can impose on your mental and physical health, and how in turn that affects the lives of those around you and your relationships with them’.”
There’s no ignoring the striking vocals of front woman Helena Lewis who leads the band on this explosive and captivating track. The melodic guitar hooks and driving drums match the attitude that Lewis delivers her vocals with and lifts this uptempo track into something spectacular.
