After performing with Cardi B at the 2019 Grammy Awards, Chloe Flower’s is all set to release her self titled debut album on 16th July via Sony Music Masterworks. The third single to be taken for the album is – ‘Tamie’ Which is dedicated to her dear friend Tamie and is full of the beauty and resilience of their Asian identity; releasing it in observance of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.
Of the music video, Chloe comments:
“It’s a celebration of our Asian heritage and culture and was shot at a classical Chinese garden. As our communities are being targeted with anti-Asian rhetoric and violence, now is the time to celebrate Asian American pride, culture and the positive impact our community has had on the world.”
Floating notes welcomes you in the opening segment. A dramatic and romantic tale ensures told with short passages. 3:30 of nothing but breath taking piano, where the notes simply leap from the instrument straight to the listeners ears. This is not some simple background piano music. It requires your complete attention to hang enraptured on what Flower’s fingers can do.
