Track: Casey Carmichael Shares Heartfelt New Single ‘Come Home, My Love’

Singer-songwriter Casey Carmichael shares the heartfelt, melancholic new single ‘Come Home, My Love’.

Written around a muted soundscape of lightly strummed acoustic guitar, gently swelling, modulation soaked electric and understated drums, the track creates a gently bubbling soundscape for Carmichael’s deep emotional vocal delivery. Infused with elements of folk and country under it’s pop exterior, the soothing melodies match the heartfelt, melancholic lyricism, evoking a deep emotional reflection.

Explaining the inspiration behind the song, Casey Carmichael shares, “This song was written for my beautiful wife. I miss her every day that she is away from me at work. Our love has inspired many songs; this one simply describes me awaiting her arrival at the end of a long day.”

Originally from Columbia, South Carolina, Casey Carmichael has been honing his craft since picking up the guitar at age eleven. Influenced by legends such as Eric Clapton and B.B. King, he has played a variety of genres, including R&B, jazz, and classic rock. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Carmichael has seamlessly blended his diverse musical influences into his current folk and country sound. His performances across Atlanta and his heartfelt songwriting continue to endear him to a growing audience, inspired by his love for his family and a deep desire to connect with his listeners.
