London rockers, Call To The Void, have shared the video for their new single ‘Viper’s Venom’, Fronted by Jack Osborne, with John McGlade on guitar, John Settle taking care of the groove on bass, and Glen Bartholomew, who recently joined the band, handling the beats.
The track was recorded at Bonafide Studio in London, with the accompanying video is also a crafty piece of eye candy, shot partly on the Balearic Island, Mallorca.
Charismatic vocalist, Jack Osborne, comments:
“Like a dark secret so many of us keep, the expression has always called to me, with its eerie, taboo yet relatable subject matter. Control and impulse are so much of what makes us human.”
Osbourne elaborates:
“I really wanted to create a contrast between the dark subject matter and the visuals for the song. The sea and the waves are meant to represent the constancy of time, and ever-changing cycles of life as the song references nature, the days beginning and ending. The video is all DIY. We had family film us on two separate occasions whilst I edited the whole thing together. It’s been a labour of love.”
Oozing charisma and rock’ n’ roll charm, this stands very much as a signature track from this band and is a testament to the new, revitalized sound. The gothic vibe emanates from the brooding bass line and Osbourne’s prowling performance. The track also benefits from the well balanced guitar work that quietly enhances and explodes when needed.
