Norway’s Blood Command have shared their new single ‘The Plague On Both Your Houses’ taken from the bands album ‘World Domination’ due the 29th of September via Hassle Records. The track tells the story of our hatred for fakes and posers and how the green-eyed monster can rear its ugly head and stop at nothing when someone wants to gain social status.
The song is told through Shakespearean metaphor, and references to the playwright’s most famous tragedies enhance the sad tale of lovers burned by the flame of betrayal and jealousy.
The single taps into Blood Command’s heaviest side yet- mixing industrial-esque riffage with classic Norwegian black metal aesthetics.
From the rip roaring ferocious riff the track descends into one hell of a living and breathing monster. Aided by Nikki Brumens banshee screaming coming across like a call to arms in their intensity, the track is nothing short of epic. Bring on the drum rolls and horns to an explosive chaotic finish. Beyond awesome.
