We’re suckers here at Backseat Mafia for sunshine indie pop thats drenched in melancholy, and with their new single Tangerine, Beach Fossils have come up trumps, pulling at your heartstrings as you sit on the beach. Throw in guest vocals from Slowdive’s Rachel Goswell, a healthy dose of echo and some aching strings, and you end up with something rather special. It’s taken from the bands forthcoming album Somersault, which drops on June 2nd via Bayonet Recordings.
