Mt. Wolf frontman/producer Sebastian Fox (under the moniker Bassi Fox) has stepped away from that project for a while to focus in writing some slightly different stuff, as he explained to us ‘Justin Vernon playing video games with Billie Eilish and James Blake in Norway kind of vibes’, and he’s just released a cover of said Billie’s ‘Everything I wanted’.
Hazy electro is the order of the day, the song decorated with scattered beats and squelching synths on one hand, electronic hue and wobbly chords on the other. Over the top is Fox’s vocal – fragile, emotive, but always beautiful.
