Indie quartet Balancing Act have released the video for their new single, ‘Under The Table.’ This is the third single from their upcoming sophomore EP, ‘Tightropes and Limericks,’ which is due for release on October 4th via The Vertex.
Guitarist Jackson Couzens comments:
“The beauty of releasing a body of work is that you can explore more corners of your creativity and ‘Under The Table’ feels like just that. It’s heavily trip-hop inspired but we still bring it back home with a mean guitar riff in the middle. It’s always been a live favourite because of the heavy dynamics, it’s a moment in our set to really let loose. We’ve had this one kicking around for quite a while and we’re so happy that the right time has come to put it out there.”
Smart and slick, with magic hidden in the deep bass groove, the track gets going when it picks up the tempo with some seriously tasty guitar work. It demonstrates a maturity in the band’s songwriting that is improving with each track released.
