Out now on numerous listening platforms is the single ‘Lowland’ by Alternative Rock band, Yard of Blondes. The band are based in Los Angeles and this track is the second single from their debut album, ‘Feed the Moon’.
This song is a result of a collaboration between Yard of Blondes and Billy Graziadei (from Biohazard) who produced the album. Mike Patterson (Nine Inch Nails, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Beck..) mixed and Maor Applebaum (Faith No More) mastered the album.
Next month, Yard of Blondes will be releasing a special COVID quarantine live ep.
‘Lowland’ is a memorable, hard-hitting song, lyrically, emotionally and musically. It crosses the divide between Alternative-Rock, Grunge and Metal. This tune doesn’t stay still and constantly hits the listener with vocal hooks via a soaring voice, haunting lyrics, grungy guitar, smart bass lines and creative drumming. ‘Lowland’ is reminiscent of the combined sounds of Garbage, Hole, Muse, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana and female fronted 4AD bands. It’s got a keen pop sensibility and will appeal to Rock, Metal, Grunge, Indie and Alternative Music listeners everywhere.
