Canada’s Valfreya have released a video for track ‘Warlords’ taken from their album Promised Land.
With a mixture of cinematic drama, brutal heaviness and deathly dark vocals, this track sticks out of the crowd. Female and male duets and full band vocals give a huge sense of power from this group. There’s a chance to catch your breath during a pagan tinged middle section that just rises and rises to an intricate instrumental section of folk metal. This is a track to hear again and again
