US metallers Trivium have released a new video for track Betrayer from their latest album The Sin and the Sentence. The video is tour recap from their North American tour at the end of 2017.
The video begins with vocalist and guitarist Matt Heafy talking about how this run was the highest attended tour ever for the band, in addition bassist Paolo Gregoletto explains that they wanted the shows to be the best the audiences had ever seen Trivium play- whether it was their 10th or 20th show.
Betrayer was Heafy’s favourite song to play on the run and he also states in the video that there was a great response from the fans- they were even singing the guitar parts back to the band. There is a live performance of the song in the video and this rendition is arguably better than the album version. The riffs from guitarist Corey Beaulieu are heavy hitting and the backing vocals from Gregoletto are outstanding, furthermore, the addition of new drummer Alex Bent makes for a refreshing sound for the band.
