See: Sparks release new video for ‘Left Out In The Cold’

Taken from their recent long player ‘A Steady Drip, Drip, Drip’, the bothers Mael are back again with a new video for album favourite ‘Left out in the cold’. The band are also being celebrated, or at least documented in a new film ‘The Sparks Brothers’ by Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Baby Driver). It’s quite some journey too; 50 years, 25 albums, and still able to pull in top tens with clever, ambitious art pop, just as they did at their outset. The film premiered at the Sundance film festival in January, and should be tracked down as a matter of course.

The track is everything you’d want from a Sparks record – flamboyant, catchy, theatrical, with thick harmonies and Russell’s vocal breaking out into its glorious falsetto here and there, as he see’s fit.
