See: Psycho Comedy reveal new video for I’m Numb

Liverpool collective have revealed a new video fir their single ‘I’m numb, taken from their acclaimed debut album ‘Performance Space Number One’.

On the track, frontman Shaun Powell says it’s “A late night early / morning memoir. Laced with a sinister tone and black comedy, I’m Numb is an unapologetic confession of one’s debauched mindset…. With the tempo and rhythm reflecting the heartbeat of the character. Noise guitar hints towards The Shangri La’s/ Phil Spector, like glistens of light in the early morning. A raucous number.”

I’m numb has this sort of indie DNA running through it, grabbing a bit from the 90s (The La’s / Wonder Stuff) all messy guitars and big chorus’s, with Iggy Pop also casting his shadow over the band as it propels forward. It’s the sort of song that seems over too soon, and has you reaching for the replay button.
