British indie rock quartet Mosa Wild have released their new EP, ‘Zip Your Coat Up For English Weather’ via Glassnote Records in celebration the band have shared the video for the track ‘Orchards’.
Written in a remote location, far deeper into the countryside than their home in Kent, ‘1993’ started life as a rolling, thunderous drum loop, before the college rock guitar riff and lyrics were added. “There was definitely an energy in that place that we tapped into,” Mosa Wild say of their brief creative excursion. ‘We later found out that the estate used to belong to Mark Hollis from Talk Talk and the rumour goes that he may have written Spirit of Eden there.”
Starting with a heartwarming acoustic beginning, where the boys treat us to a gorgeous vocal performance featuring beautiful group harmonies. They add ringing guitars and emotive strings as the track unfolds into a five minute epic of ear catching brilliance. A testament to the band’s collective talent.
